Remember I told you I was going to scrap less and do more of other stuff like canvases... well here´s my first one for this year...

I have said to myself that it just to go with the flow... not think to much just do it! And so I did and ended up with this. It´s an 8 x 8 canvas.  And some close ups...

Peace ** Swirlydoos RR for January**

Today I have a RR to show you. It´s a monthly scrapbook challange over at Swirlydoos Scrapbook Kit Club.  If you haven´t heard about a Round Robin challenge you can find out everything about it in this thred over at Swirlydoos forum.

We start the year with a challenge about a word that we want to use as a leadword or a guide through 2015. My word is peace. I need peace in my head ;). I´m always stressed about something in my head.  The other part of this month challange is to use 3 thing from our stash that is at least 1 year old.

The old stuff I found in my boxes are the plastic birds from Webster Pages, the wooden birdcase from Maya Road, the samll lace flowers from Prima and the small grey/purple flowers from Petaloo.

Other stuff used are Blue Fern Studios chipboard and new paperline Sanctuary, Prima flowers and lace from Tresors de Luxe.

Sweet SATW January challenge

I found a fun challenge over at Scrap Around The World. A lovely moodboard to follow. This months challenge is hosted by Karita =).

This is what I did! I was inspred by the colors in the moodboard and some of the elements like roses, clocks and frames.

For  my layout I have used 7 Dots papers "Messy Head", Melissa Frances resin frames, Prima flowers, Blue Fern Studios chipboard, cheese cloth and some old clock faces from my treasure box. I´ve also used some modelling paste, stencil, gesso and Inklings, disress Ink and a stamp.

Upcycling is a popular word. I have made an average bag to something personal. This is how the bag looked like  before I started...

A new scrappy year has started...

... My first post for 2015... looking forward to this new scrappy year =). My plan is to scrap less ;) sounds stupid doesn´t it?
I have bought myself a bunch of canvases and my plan is to paint more... then we´ll see if anything comes up here or if they all end up in the rubber bin =D.
I will still scrap and I´m so happy to get another 6 months on the Swirlydoos Scrapbook kit Club  DT.

So my fist layout to be shown this year is actually the last one I made last year... A page made with papers and some flowers from Swirlydoos December kit "Enchanted Evening" and laces from Tresors de Luxe.

My favourite layouts for 2014

It´s the time of the year to look back at the scrappy year 2014. For me it´s been an amazing year with fun DT work for Blue Fern Studios, Swirlydoos Scrapbook Kit Club, Once Upon A Sketch and ARTastic. I also had a GDT spot over at 7 Dots Studios in October and had a couple of months on the Tresors de Luxe DT. I´ve made 100 layouts during the year and here below are my own favourites in random order.
